Lesley Wengembo is a contemporary Papua New Guinean artist known for powerful hyper-realistic portraiture. Born in 1997 and connected to Southern Highlands, Madang and Eastern Highlands, Lesley’s work preserves cultural identity through detailed portraits, traditional attire and deep respect for the stories carried by PNG elders and communities.
